ZenTribes Mindset Mastermind

Find Your Tribe

Being an entrepreneur can be a lonely life.

It’s filled with the highest of highs and the lowest of lows.

Most of your friends and family don’t understand the stress, responsibility, risks, and pain behind creating a thriving business.

Your business is based on you- it’s all riding on your shoulders. No pressure. Although a source of innovation, passion, and drive, our minds can also be fraught with landmines. Negative thoughts, inner demons, fear, self-sabotage, urges to numb and avoid, anger, fear, burnout, loneliness. The mental game can be a BATTLE.

Add to that the pressure to keep up with personal relationships, raising kids, health concerns, aging parents and a host of other things in life. The smartest and most competent founders among us can struggle in the face of such demands.

Too often founders bottle all this up. We put on masks. We put on a smile, despite the adversity we deal with. We suffer in secret while maintaining a facade of success.

But what if you could talk about your highs and lows with other people who get it?

What if you could share openly and honestly?

What if you had help to work out the snags in your mindset? An expert to help optimize your mental game?

What if you had practical tools to deal with anxiety, sleeplessness, and anger?

What if you knew the early warning signs of burnout and could recharge yourself before it's too late?

What would it feel like to stop teetering precariously between work and personal life and instead experience a sense of balance and integration?

What if you had a small group of trusted and like-minded peers who could encourage and build you up every week?

We’ve created something JUST for you called ZenTribes.

What is ZenTribes?

ZenTribes are groups of 6-8 entrepreneurs who commit to meet weekly for an 8-week mindset immersion.

More than a peer support group or business mastermind, a ZenTribe group is facilitated by psychologist, Dr. Sherry Walling (ZenFounder.com), often in partnership with an experienced founder.

  • Offer the time and place to tackle the unique mindset challenges that you experience as an entrepreneur.
  • Build and deepen your friendships with other entrepreneurs.
  • Equip you for ongoing self-reflection and self-care practices.
  • Help you spot burnout and similar problems in yourself and your team members.
  • Give you scientifically-sound strategies to rest and reset.
  • Give you scientifically-sound strategies to work with greater focus and attention.
  • Help you optimize your brain power and creativity.
  • Problem solve tricky interpersonal interactions with team-members, customers, and personal relationships.

Tribes are forming now!

ZenTribe is an 8-week bootcamp for your mental game. We meet for 1 hour and 45 minutes via Zoom. This is a great starting point to improve your mental game and optimize your the sustainability of your business. Each group is limited to 8 participants, and we only do three or four groups a year. Interested in participating in the next ZenTribe? Apply and reserve your spot here.

The Meeting Format

We begin with a round of check-ins, during which each participant shares a brief reflection or their experience with the homework from the previous week. The heart of the content is a 45-minute guided discussion focused on the central topic for that week. Each meeting concludes with practical application or ‘homework’ you can practice during the following week. Of course, there is flexibility and ample time to discuss specific concerns.

What Topics Will Be Discussed?

We balance pre-planning topics that are essential to healthy mindset and tailoring the exact content of each group to the specific needs of the participants. Here are many of the Tribes's common conversation topics:

  • Fear and worry
  • Self-reflection and self-assessment
  • Loneliness and friendship
  • Mindfulness
  • Sleep
  • Nutrition and exercise to optimize focus
  • Play, hobbies, fun
  • Anger
  • Burnout
  • Relationships — marriage, parenting, friendships
  • Handling Criticism
  • Conflict
  • Meaningful work
  • Deep work
  • Failure & Loss

Who Should Join?

Whether you run an online ecommerce store, software business, a law firm, or retail store... we want to build a community of people who are writing their own script and going for it.

The only qualification is that you are an entrepreneur who is willing to share openly, listen respectfully, and learn collaboratively. We are inviting you into a confidential, growth-inspiring community. We welcome your successes and your struggles.

Why Should You Join

  • You want to invest in yourself (and therefore your business)
  • You want to build meaningful relationships with other entrepreneurs; to share life -- the highs and lows -- together
  • You want support, encouragement and expertise to help you face the heartburn and headaches below the surface

What others are saying about ZenTribes...

“ZenTribe is a different kind of mastermind group. It fills the gap between running a business and running a healthy lifestyle and family. The ZenTribe sessions provide a much-needed break to step back, think about what truly matters and give and get support with folks who know where you're coming from.”

Brian Casel
Founder of Audience Ops

"I have such respect for Sherry and the others running ZenTribes that I jumped at the opportunity to join a group. Each week was a curated conversation around a topic that always seemed tailored just for me. Turns out my struggles are not uncommon amount entrepreneurs and it was encouraging and cathartic to share with others in the group. Thank you, Sherry and team, for facilitating a safe environment to connect with other entrepreneurs in a meaningful way."

Carrie Dils,

Sherry created an atmosphere where even the shyest individuals opened up about real problems.  The environment of the group was one of support and understanding. We covered useful topics, rotating weekly to keep it interesting.  Empathy was the protocol, unless direct feedback was requested (no one acted like they can solve all your problems).  Everyone had the best intentions for everyone else.
